		<description>The borders bookstore has been in Singapore as early as I first visited it in 2000. So it could be there longer before that.

If you ever get the chance to visit Singapore, you can see people sitting down in borders and read books... If this is what you&#039;re looking for.

We used to have a library right in centre of Orchard are on the same buliding as Kinokuniya is, but it had made way for retail shops.</description>

		<description>Whoa, they have Border&#039;s in Singapore?  I missed it so much when I was in Thailand.  I went to Kinokuniya once or twice a month...  Also, I couldn&#039;t get Amazon to deliver to me in Thailand, which I thought was pretty disappointing.  It looks like Singapore is way ahead, as far as booksellers go.  Do a lot of people read in Singapore?</description>
